Noble Esports — Team Platform
Built the official website and team management platform for Noble Esports — featuring player profiles, tournament tracking, live streams, and community engagement tools on a modern Next.js/Node.js stack.
TEAM PLATFORM
Esports Organization Site
THE PROBLEM
Noble Esports needed a professional web presence to showcase their players, tournament results, and live streams. Existing esports team sites were slow, poorly designed, and didn't integrate live streaming or community features effectively.
UX RESEARCH & STRATEGY
Studied top esports org websites (FaZe, 100 Thieves, Team Liquid) for UX patterns. Esports fans want instant access to player stats, upcoming matches, and live streams. Designed for high visual impact with fast load times and mobile-first responsiveness.
DECISION LOG
Next.js chosen for SSR performance (critical for SEO and social sharing of player profiles). Node.js backend for real-time match score updates. AWS hosting for global CDN delivery. Firebase for community features (comments, reactions).
ARCHITECTURE
Next.js frontend with SSR for player profiles and tournament pages. Node.js backend API for match data, team stats, and content management. AWS S3 + CloudFront for media delivery. Firebase Realtime Database for live match score ticker.
UI EXECUTION
Dark gaming aesthetic with neon accent colors. Player profile cards with role, stats, and social links. Match calendar with live/upcoming/completed filters. Embedded Twitch stream integration. Responsive design optimized for mobile esports fans.
BUSINESS IMPACT
Established a strong digital presence for the team, improving sponsor engagement. Player profile pages became the top traffic source from esports tournament websites. The platform served as the central hub for team communications and fan engagement.
