/about-the-role
Work onsite on real Linux server management, Nginx reverse proxy configuration, Docker container orchestration, PostgreSQL database administration, and SSL/TLS security hardening.
Key Requirements
- Hands-on familiarity with Linux terminal commands, file systems, and user permissions.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (DNS, Ports, HTTP/HTTPS, SSH, Firewalls).
- Interest in DevOps, Docker containerization, and cloud infrastructure.
- Problem-solving mindset for diagnosing server logs and system errors.
Responsibilities
- Configure, monitor, and maintain Linux cloud instances (VPS) running production microservices.
- Write automated Bash/Shell scripts for system backups, log rotation, and server health checks.
- Deploy and manage Nginx reverse proxy configurations, SSL certificate renewals, and firewall security rules.
- Monitor system performance (CPU, memory, disk I/O) and troubleshoot server bottlenecks.

Stipend & Performance Policy
Stipend disbursement is strictly performance-based. All candidates must complete an initial 1 to 2 months evaluation period before becoming eligible for stipend payments. Candidates must prove their output quality, attendance, and technical competence to qualify for monthly stipend disbursement.
